Westminster is part of the Family Promise network of churches in New Castle County that houses prescreened homeless families in church facilities on a rotating basis. Join us for our Christian Education Open House on Sunday, September 12 from 10:10 to 11:00 a.m. in Community Hall. All programs and educational ministries will be represented so that you can explore, ask questions, and sign up for specific offerings. Beginning Sunday, September 19, D.R.U.M. (Devoting Rhythms, Uniting Melodies) is a creative approach to Christian education and choir designed especially for children in grades 3 - 6.  D.R.U.M. will meet in the Youth Music Room on Sunday mornings from 10:10 - 11:00 beginning September 19.   You can read more about D.R.U.M. in this month's issue of the CHIMES.  An invitation, along with a registration form, will be arriving in your mailbox in the next week, but plan now to be a part of this new program!

We have received updates from Bill Moore who is currently continuing God's work in the Congo region. These notes reflect both the dire and deteriorating conditions he is witnessing but also the strength he gains from our prayers and support.
