Adult Education: Palestine Children’s Relief Fund

Presented by Nora Whisnant, Dr. Nadine Kazzaz, and Dr. Afnan Albahiri
The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) is the premier charity working in Palestine and the Levant to bring medical care to suffering children who cannot get care locally. PCRF has gratefully received generous support from the Westminster community. A presentation of the dire needs and uses of the donations for children in Gaza will be presented.
Nora Whisnant, BS, BSN, MS, MSPH, is the President of the Delaware Chapter of the PCRF. She has volunteered with the PCRF since 2004 and has been to Palestine and refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon volunteering, assessing needs, and implementing programs for aid.
Dr. Nadine Kazzaz, DNP, CRNA, CCRN, received her DNP at the University of Pennsylvania and is a nurse anesthetist at Cooper University Hospital.
Dr. Afnan Albahiri, MD, is a pediatrician at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
