Don’t miss the chance to learn about the new directions of Urban Promise at 25 years! Join us for a special adult education program on April 23 to hear from recently retired Urban Promise Executive Director Rob Prestowitz, who will introduce the new Executive Council and share a glimpse of the exciting future for Urban Promise.
Urban Promise remains a vital ministry in Wilmington and one of our key mission partners, equipping children and young adults through Christ with the skills for academic and personal growth, life management, and servant leadership. Through our Urban Mission Committee, Westminster supports Urban Promise through events like the annual Silent Auction Fundraiser, Thanksgiving Dinner for family and staff, Street Leader training, and student mentoring. Before its post-pandemic location change, Westminster also hosted the summer Camp Promise program giving students fun and enriching educational opportunities.
