October – cool nights are settling in and we begin to prepare for winter. During this season, the Hanover Food Closet begins to stock in the nonperishable food items that are the backbone of solid nutrition for the winter season and ingredients for big celebratory holiday meals. We still need cereal, but these hearty ingredients and personal items are also urgently needed. How about sharing some healthy choices with those who need your help with winter meals? Cereal Sunday is October 1, from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. in the church parking lot (or bring to the container inside the church entryway).
