“Helping Hands” Winter Collection

Winter is a particularly difficult time for those who are, or are at risk of becoming, houseless or homeless. Friendship House has worked for many years to make the situation more bearable, and Westminster has a long history of supporting their projects. This is a way you can help! Our annual Friendship House “Helping Hands” project is back for its 8th year, collecting NEW gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, and socks for all ages.

We will collect these items in Westminster’s Walton Community Hall on Sundays, January 7, 14, and 21, between worship services (10–11 a.m.). There will also be collection boxes inside the church’s 13th Street entrance and by the front desk throughout the month. Thank you for your support!
