September 29 @ 10:40 am - 11:30 am
Sunday, September 29, 2024
10:40 – 11:30 a.m.
Classroom 5
Presented by Marcia Applegate
How did a little Orthodox Jewish girl find her way to Jesus (Yeshua)? Marcia will share her story how Jesus pursued her from a very young age and how difficult it was to choose between God and family. Learn what Messianic Judaism is and the early roots of the Messianic Jews. How and why they disappeared over time and then how the modern movement of Messianic Judaism began. Marcia will speak about the Christian revival in Israel and the exponential growth of Messianic churches. She will share the struggle over the identity of being Jewish and Christian and clarify why Messianic Jews say that they are a “completed Jew.” Shalom!
Marcia Applegate was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she graduated from Northeast High School. Her interest is theater, where she has been in both plays and musicals since she was 18.
