Peace and Justice Education Event: Project New Start

Project New Start (PNS) focuses on combatting violence, reducing recidivism, and supports individuals as they transition from incarceration back to their families, communities, and employment. The program is designed to help participants develop marketable skills for obtaining and sustaining employment. PNS participants face significant barriers to employment, including housing insecurity, substance misuse history, and limited education. Additional challenges include child support obligations, strained family relationships, and returning to neighborhoods with high crime rates. Quincey Thomas understands the challenges individuals face when reintegrating into society after incarceration and is passionate about helping clients reach their full potential.
