Join us for a special presentation from Delaware Center for Horticulture. Sue Wyndham, Director of Programs, and Marcia Stephenson, Director of Advancement, will discuss Branches to Chances®, their award-winning horticulture Return to Work program for unemployed, underemployed, and/or formerly incarcerated individuals. This nine-week program teaches botany and horticultural skills for entry level jobs in the horticulture industry. Activities include daily hands-on training, plant/weed identification, basic botany, and equipment use and safety. The program also provides general skills in financial and computer literacy, preparing for a job interview, and workplace skills. Learn how this program helps turn lives around!
