Alanna Mozeik, Master of Public Health, will present information regarding ODS’s 2025 legislative initiatives. ODS, also known as the public defender’s office, provides legal advocacy to approximately 85% of all people involved in the Delaware criminal legal system, though this advocacy often goes beyond the courtroom. Topics to be discussed include compassionate release, police reform, sentencing reform, and death penalty repeal. Hosted by Westminster’s Peace & Justice Work Group.
