7–8 p.m. on Zoom

Video and Discussion facilitated by Sue Linderman

The Civil Rights Movement was a pivotal period in our country’s history. Countless courageous people took action to move America forward. One such brave individual was six-year-old Ruby Bridges who, all by herself, desegregated the William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans. Decades later, she is a powerful advocate for equal rights. Join us as we hear her share her experiences “Through My Eyes,” then reflect on the impact that she and others like her have had on our lives today. Hosted by Westminster’s Peace & Justice Work Group.
