Video and discussion

As people of faith, we are called to live our lives with compassion for those who are oppressed and/or marginalized. Jesus pointed the way with his words recorded in Matthew 25 about the poor, imprisoned, hungry, and stranger. As we pass the 237th day of the humanitarian catastrophe which continues in Gaza, we can reflect on the words of the Rev. Mitri Raheb, who is a Palestinian, Arab, Christian, Lutheran Pastor from Bethlehem. He discusses the three Evils of Poverty, Race, and Militarism, and draws contextual parallels among the oppression of Gaza, Palestinians, Native Americans, and African Americans. Hosted by Westminster’s Peace & Justice Work Group.
