Peace and Justice Education Event: Destructive vs. Constructive Conflict

July 11 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Thursday, July 11, 2024
7–8 p.m. on Zoom

With David McBride

Conflict is inevitable, but it can be constructive or destructive. It depends on how it is approached and conducted. Dave McBride reviews a number of sources on how conflict can become destructive and how it can be made constructive. If you think your views are mandated by morality, that the problem is simple and there is little room for compromise, you may be creating destructive conflict. But what if the issue is a moral issue? How do you maintain moral principles but avoid destructive conflict? Is humility the answer? Hosted by Westminster’s Peace & Justice Work Group.
