The New Castle County Police Accountability Board is the first created in the state of Delaware after House Bill 206 became law in 2023, which requires all police departments in Delaware to establish police accountability committees or boards. The goal of the Board is to provide recommendations to the police and policymakers to improve policing in New Castle County and strengthen police/community relations. Join us to learn how to access the public meetings, what some of the focus points have been and may be in upcoming meetings, and understand the ultimate goal for this groundbreaking group.
