Peace and Justice Education Event: Why is Palestine a Critical Issue on College Campuses?
August 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Thursday, August 29, 2024
7-8 p.m. on Zoom
Panel discussion facilitated by Mark Mosher
An incredible movement started happening this past spring at over 80 college campuses across our nation and the world. Students were protesting the destruction of Gaza, starting conversations about Palestine with teach-ins and creating encampments, showing their support for the people of Palestine and other people and countries also experiencing oppression. Please join us as we welcome three college students who were involved in their college movements in support of Palestine. We look forward to questioning, listening, discussing and learning as to “Why is Palestine a Critical Issue on College Campuses?” Hosted by Westminster’s Peace & Justice Work Group.
