A criminal record of any type can create obstacles to housing, employment, public service programs, voting rights, family reunification and more. As part of a nationwide program, Clean Slate Delaware has been established to assist individuals in expunging certain records using a defined set of principles. On August 1, Delaware began its automated expungement program and offers assistance to those who need help with this process.
