Peace and Justice Education Event: Who Was Frederick Douglass?

October 5, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Thursday, October 5, 2023
7 p.m. on Zoom

With Sue Linderman

Frederick Douglass is a name famous in American history for anti-slavery writings and oratory. Abraham Lincoln famously said to him “There is no man in the country whose opinion I value more than yours.” Yet most of us know little of this man’s life and journey, his impact on our country during his lifetime, and even now. Join us for a PBS documentary – “Becoming Frederick Douglass” – and discussion. Hosted by Westminster’s Peace & Justice Work Group.
