Hardly a day goes by without news of yet another mass shooting somewhere in the United States. Lives cut short, families decimated, bystanders traumatized. And more than half of all gun deaths each year are by suicide. Moms Demand Action is a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence – stronger gun laws, closing loopholes, and encouraging responsible gun ownership. We know that gun violence is preventable, and Moms Demand Action is committed to doing what it takes to keep families safe.
