Jessica Wescott, Founder
Imagine that you live in Wilmington, on the East Side of Market Street. Several blocks from your home, out on the street next to a community building, is – a refrigerator! Decorated with images of brightly colored fruits and vegetables, it says “Free Food For All.” Join us as we hear Planting to Feed founder Jessica Wescott describe the history and the mission of this amazing non-profit, which tends two large city gardens, one at Kingswood Community Center, harvesting the produce every Saturday morning and filling the five refrigerators in the area. Come and learn how you can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors! Hosted by Westminster’s Peace & Justice Work Group.
Zoom Meeting ID: 860 2752 1655
