Pro-Democracy Rally

Westminster parking lot
Westminster’s Session was recently approached by a member of the congregation seeking to host a pro-democracy rally that would assemble in Westminster’s parking lot. The rally would take place on public sidewalks. The Session approves the use of the parking lot for the assembly of this rally by the member and Indivisible Highlands and Beyond, and the Delaware Chapter of the American Constitution Society. The Session has determined that the intent of the rally is consistent with Christian values including a democracy rooted in truth, fairness, and the inclusion of all voices.
