Join us to find out more about Westminster’s most recent partner organization, YoungMoms (youngmomschestercounty.org), located just “over the border” in Kennett Square, PA. Our guest speaker will be Mary Hewes, the executive director of this non-profit that inspires and equips young mothers to build thriving futures for themselves and their families. YoungMoms is currently serving 46 pregnant or parenting women under the age of 21 in Southern Chester County; 65% of them have recently arrived from Guatemala. Westminster’s Church in the World Committee Guatemala Team and Urban Mission Committee have joined forces to support YoungMoms in many creative ways, including serving meals, donating Christmas gift cards, and mentoring.
